Privacy policy

1. Who is responsible

YallaPro is operated by its founders. For any privacy question or request, contact hello@yallapro.ae.

2. Businesses listed on YallaPro

What we keep: the details on your page (business name, category, description, opening hours, areas served, location address and map link, website, email, logo and WhatsApp number).

Why: to show your page to customers so they can contact you, and to let you manage it. The legal basis is your consent when you publish, and our legitimate interest in preparing a page from information you made public, which stays hidden until you agree.

Unpublished pages we prepared are deleted automatically 30 days after we send you the invitation, or at once if you press “No thanks, delete my details”.

3. Trade licences

If you upload your trade licence, we use it only to verify your business. Once it has been checked, we delete the file and keep only the licence number, its expiry date and the date we checked it. If we can’t accept a licence, the file is deleted too.

4. WhatsApp confirmations and your consent

You log in, and confirm that a page is yours, by sending us a short code from your own WhatsApp number. We keep the number, the time and the WhatsApp message reference for up to 120 days, as proof that the person acting controls the number.

When you sign up, publish, edit or delete your page, we record it in a consent log: the date, the action, the version of these terms you accepted, the confirming WhatsApp reference and a copy of the page details at that moment. We keep this record for as long as we may need to show your consent or that we honoured your request, normally [up to 5 years]. When a page is deleted, only a minimal record (business name, number and dates) is kept.

A login keeps you signed in on that device for up to 90 days, using a cookie that is needed for the site to work. Sending “STOP” to our WhatsApp number logs you out everywhere.

5. Customers and reviews

You can use YallaPro without an account. We count anonymous events, such as page views and taps on the WhatsApp or Call buttons, to show businesses how many customers contacted them. These counts don’t identify you.

If you write a review, we keep your first name, your rating, your text and the UAE mobile number you confirmed it from. Your number is never shown publicly; we use it only to allow one review per number per business and to prevent abuse.

When you contact a business on WhatsApp or by phone, that conversation is between you and the business; YallaPro doesn’t see it.

6. Sharing your data

We don’t sell personal data and we don’t use it for advertising. We may disclose data if the law requires it.

7. Your rights

Businesses can see, change and delete their page themselves at any time from the business area.

Anyone can ask us to see, correct or delete their personal data, or object to how we use it, by contacting us (section 1). We reply within [30] days.

Backups are kept for a short time for safety and are overwritten on a rolling basis; deleted data disappears from them within [30] days. Licence files are never kept in backups longer than on the site itself.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. The version and date are shown at the top, and important changes will be announced to listed businesses.
